In order to carry out the Healthy China strategy, to build national and regional ophthalmology centers and enhance the core competitiveness of ophthalmology talents in China. On May 18th, Tianjin University  (referred to as "TJU”)with AIER Eye Hospital (referred to as "AIER”) held the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement in Tianjin, with the grand unveiling of "Tianjin University Aier Eye Hospital".

In the future, both parties will make use of its unique system advantages of medical education and research integration with school-enterprise cooperation, put into effect to develop hospital co-construction, talent training, teaching staff construction, teaching and scientific research. Through cooperation among the powerful friends in the eye industry, a wonderful example of "famous school + famous enterprise" is building.

Before the ceremony, Mr. Jiajun Li, Secretary of the Party Committee of TJU, had a cordial meeting with Mr. Bang Chen, Chairman of AIER, he expressed good wishes for the future cooperation between the two parties. Mr.Jiajun Li introduced more than 120 years of history of TJU to Mr. Bang Chen. He expected that both sides would take this cooperation as an opportunity to complete the effective connection between medical entities and high-quality educational resources, as to realize the win-win cooperation between the educational brand of TJU and AIER.

Subsequently, TJU and AIER officially held the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement, the leaders of both sides attended the ceremony.
